Test Report from Engineers at Smar Thursday, April 07, 2005 A test to verify Microwave Data Systems (MDS) iNET 900 wireless Ethernet access point connectivity for industrial communication protocols was carried out successfully. The test was conducted jointly between engineers from Smar and MDS. The test was carried out at a short distance. However, the test was not to verify distance, but to ensure that the radio link meets the requirement of FOUNDATION Fieldbus HSE and Modbus/TCP. More »	Smar Automation Ensures Record Crop for Brazilian Sugar Plant Tuesday, February 15, 2005 December proved to be an exceptional month for Usina Vertente, a sugar facilty in Brazil. The plant´s final crop was a recordbreaker in sugar cane pressing in the entire history of the agro-business sector. With slightly less than a six-month harvest period, the mill produced over 69 thousand tons of VHP export sugar, more than 23 million liters of hydrated ethanol and more than 21 million liters of dehydrated ethanol, produced from one million tons of crushed sugar cane.
