A very simplified explanation would be, it is CCTV Cameras combined with alarm sensors which are used to protect property When a sensor is activated the system using telephone lines brings up live pictures in our Control Room of events as the unfold. Our Controllers can then take full control of the cameras zooming in on suspects and following them. The Control Room can also dial in to the system to carry out patrols, escort late working staff to their cars or over see deliveries, etc.			If an intruder is seen we will immediately contact the Police giving them a running commentary, intruder do not know we are watching so the odds of catching them are high, we also record close up images. The Police response to our calls is excellent, we put a bit of excitement back in to their job, by having visual verification of someone on site. 94% of burglar alarm calls they attend are false. False alarms involving employee’s are eliminated by the use of pin numbers and detailed site instructions.
