Why Calibrate? Calibration is sometimes considered purely an overhead: We believe that a correctly calibrated item should save you money and so, in time, pay for its calibration. You should be able to rely on the instrument and so save wasted time and expense. Calibration is not a warranty or statement of how long an instrument will last or operate! Calibration is purely an indication that the instrument was found to be performing within the specified specification at the time of the calibration only. It provides confidence that the instrument has been, and is, operating to the manufacturer’s specification. If it is not, the calibration house will adjust and inform the owner of the adjustment made. At WISE-MAN we do this as a matter of course - we do not charge extra for this service. We make it easier for you, the customer, to spot adjustments by marking the adjusted measurement. Please remember:-
